Its not the fixed speed cameras I hate, its the mobile ones.

They do a good job of letting you know theres a fixed speed camera around most of the time but I think its unfair with the mobile ones.

Anyone else Agree?

Also the average speed checks.. not a fan of them! )

The problem with the speed cameras or even the stop sign cameras is that the tickets get sent to the registered owner of the car and they may not have been the person who is driving. I think over here it's been ruled unconstitutional or something like that. They used to have them in Minneapolis and they had to refund all the ticket money they collected from using them.

One of the main problems of speed cameras in my country is that everyone know where they are located. Drivers will simply slow down just before they get to the cameras. They therefor have little effect.
