When turning on the Ignition the heater plug/management light stays on for approximately 7 secs goes out and the car will start first time my problems started about three weeks ago the light gos out but comes back on when this happens the car wont start,at first it was intermittant ie once a week now it happens all the time and as such the car wont start,Ive changed filters checked fuel etc when the engine starts it runs fine I even noticed when first purchased the car would start without the need for the heater plugs ie it would start on the turn of the key,can anyone help?

Hi, I have a renault scenic when bought it I had no problems then I power washed the engine, for a couple of days after it started ok but the glow plug light would come on then go off then it stayed on all the time, I put it down to moisture from the power wash once dried the problem went so could it be damp getting in, I don't know if this will be of any use to you but it may help.

Sound so strange. Did you already visit your dealership? Maybe the result was there.
