my 2002 astra was running fine then engine management lamp came on and cut out
fault code p0251 -injection pump metering control A-
has anyone out there come across this before

Hi did you manage to find out what problem was?
I have the same fault on my astra, ive been told i need a new fuel pump, by one main dealer and another one has told me i need a new ecu!
If you managed to find out what the problem was i would be very grateful!!!!

yeah mate it was the fuel pump ecu at fault i sent it to my local fuel injection specialist who knew streight away what was wrong. it cost £200 and it took them about 5 hours to do

was yours the fuelpump ecu aswell or was it something different cos the garage said the astra sometimes gives faulse codes

where did u get it fixed.
