hi friend
haven't done any customising myself, but with a fairly large exp with fords over the years i truly believe that shouldn't give you any probs. if you use ford box they are usualy very compatible. if you need further assurance then make a cardboard template of bellhousing to see if it matches potential purchase, also measure box for obvious reasons ( prop & cross member matching ), take clutch plate to match splines, etc, etc. make these checks for your own peace of mind ( & your pocket ) as if you're buying from a breaker, some are not very reputable & won't give a refund if box is wrong, in other words the gits rip you off & i hate that , don't you mate. best of luck & let me know how you get on, regards dj dave. |
