Engine rattles drastically when engine hits 3000rpm upwards in all gears inc. reverse and neutral. also rattles quite badly well rolling in gear when throttle is tapped. any ideas what this could be. a couple of people have suggested valves, someone suggested piston slap and someone else suggested hydraulic lifters. I know its not the Hydraulic Tappets as have changed the oil and put RedEx Tappet stuff in it too cure that which has had no effect so now know its not tappets.
