 Ford Si bad performance? Hi, im new to this forum and have some questions about my car. I have a Red Ford Escort Si, 1.8, 1998. I was finishing work today and a work collegue was driving home in his Silver Rover 214 1.4, he likes to drive fast but i could only just keep up with him and mines a 1.8, not only that, i have an induction kit fitted along with a performance exaust! Whats all this about, isnt mine supposed to be quicker/faster? Also sometimes i cant get the gears into first or reverse, i have to lift the clutch up an then back down before it will slot in, do i need a new clutch? do you think this is linked to the low performance?      |
