| Hiya all am new to this Well a mate of mine has a basic Ford Escort Diesel. The car starts fine but will not switch off even with the key removed. All electrical power goes but you need to stall the car each time to switch it off. I tried a brand new Ignition switch which didn't help, infact it made it slightly worse. I think it may be the relays instead. Anyone have any ideas. P.S the car is a K reg Escort |

| check to wire to the diesel pump this usually where your fault is the the olden days you had to pull a wire to stop them now they use a electrical switch at the rear of pump |
