Smile 440 volvo,how do i switch off lights?

hi, does anyone know, how do i switch off [dtr] lights, what come on ,when i start the engine? on my volvo 440 td si. as most volvos have this feature. is there a wire to the ignition switch, or something ? its my first volvo. thanks.

hi steve
as far as i know ( having many years of motor trade exp ) they are not switchable. they remain on whilst engine / ign switch is on. once again , as far as i know, it's a inbuilt feature to conform with the sweedish motoring laws.
