 Please Help... Gearbox Diagnostic... Hi I have recently bought a Mitsubishi FTO GPX, its the 4 speed tiptronic version.... On the way home last night, whenever it changed down from 4th to 3rd, there was a clunk, and a small jolt. Can anyone think what this may be? Any suggestions? Thanks Ck      |

 hi koala on older autos the manufacturers used to use rubber drive couplings in thier driveshafts, my guess is you have these & one or more are braking up get it checked before you go for more expensive option. regards dj dave. |
