Default 307 hdi crank speed sensor

i have a 1.4 hdi in today the crank sensor is suspect can anyone tell me where it is on the engine and what sort of job it is to change any help welcome

Hi mate.
Not worked with many peugeots apart from my own 306. The crank sensor is located towards the bottom of the engine. If you look where the gearbox joins the engine via the clutch, equal to that on the other side of the engine or somewhere around there. Not too bad to change providing you can get access to it, some engines can be an absolute nightmare.
